Fall Fest Open Thread

From the GW Hatchet:

Poor weather and a lack of big-name headliners contributed to a sparsely attended Fall Fest Saturday afternoon in the Smith Center.

Program Board moved the annual event indoors from University Yard last week due to Tropical Storm Hanna. In addition to food and games, the festival featured performances from student organizations, The Canon Logic, Virginia Coalition and Wale.

Did you attend Fall Fest? If so, was it good? If not, why not?

Fine, I'll start.
I didn't go because I have better things to do on a Saturday night then see a couple of obscure bands in an arena.
The article was right: It was the storm and the horrible bookings.

i went for about 45 minutes. saw the dance crew, ate free cotton candy and crepes, stocked up on free monsters and cokes, then left. didn't see any of the bands. it was alright, but very empty and lots of time where nothing was happening.

It was like a bad dream that just wouldn't end. My time would have been better spent watching crappy movies on Lifetime. Good job Program Board.
