GWU Snuggies?

Could a Colonial Snuggie be on its way?

CNBC recently reported that makers of the Snuggie, an over sized blanket with sleeves, are looking to develop college themed Snuggies.

Snuggie has partnered with Collegiate Licensing Company a company that helps colleges, include GWU, with licensing.

Big 10 schools are the first universities to have the privilege of wearing college-themed Snuggies, but there is the potential to expand to other colleges.

Snuggie's infomercials claim that they are perfect for "drafty dorm rooms", and they even come with a book light! Time will tell if GW students will have the opportunity to study for exams in their own collegiate over sized blanket with sleeves.

A book light? That's ridiculous. Ridiculous and awesome.

I really like this post. My roommates and I are thinking about buying snuggies next year, I've heard great things. Might as well get some Gdubs snuggies.

Andrew: would you buy a snuggie or (snuggie competitor) slanket?

Snuggies are not cool. Not at all. Just get a blanket. Or cuddle with your roommate.

As a house staffer I would urge you not to cuddle with a roommate.

Sean,

Blankets are such a hassle. Haven't you seen the snuggies commercial? Picture the ordeal you'd have to go through if you were under a blanket when the phone rings. Ughh!
