A Less Money Orientated GW?
It has just been announced that GW acceptance rates have dropped for the first time in recent history. With application still increasing the drop in accepted students is even more surprising. For those who are already here or who have been accepted this can only be seen as a good thing. In theory there will be smaller classes and more resources to go around.
Hopefully this is a sign that the university is becoming less money orientated. This only gives me hope in my fight to make the GW Bookstore more affordable. Please help by joining the group and sign the petition.

It doesn't mean that less students are going to be part of the incoming class....it means that GW had more applicants. In turn, the acceptance rate went down. That it so be expected. If 20,000 people applied and we accepted 6,500 last year, and then 25,000 applied this year and we still only accepted 6,500...there is no change in the number of accepted students, just the acceptance RATE changed.
